Buttons!
These buttons are from one of the Biennale installations.
This one was called 'Stitching time-a collective fashioning' 2012
The buttons were on the table in the centre of the room, & as seen in the photo below, the entire textile artwork took up the whole space.
We loved the colours & the light. It was really interesting walking amongst it.

I love buttons and they look great in those assorted jars. The last photo particularly, is wonderful ! Beautiful tones and composition and the idea that in that massive space is a vast collection of tiny buttons that you have already told us about!

ReplyDeleteI actually have a small collection of vintage white buttons.
I know I'll probably never use them, so they just sit in a jar, but I do love them.
These are great photos, especially the first one.
